Five cartes de visite of unidentified members of the Hickling and Bradford families, taken between 1865 and 1874 by Bement & Harvey, Black & Case, and John Adams Whipple (all of Boston, Mass.), among other photographers. This collection also includes one photograph given to Eliza Edes Hickling by Helen Denison in Dec. 1894 of an unidentified woman on the banks of the Nile River in Egypt, ca. 1894. The photographer is also unidentified. All photographs are black-and-white.
